New 'Supergirl' Episode Is A Really Big One for Kara & Mon-El

Tonight’s all-new Supergirl is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions for fans.

Executive Producer Robert Rovner shared in a recent Q&A that Kara and Mon-El will finally get their resolution.

“The way that their relationship ended at the end of Season 2, they never really had a chance to break up,” he shared. “Things that might have been said under other circumstances, they didn’t have the opportunity to say, so we all felt that it was important for Kara to really get everything off her chest for them really to move forward in a new friendship and on a clean slate.”

He adds, “This episode was allowing us to do that, to let everything be said that needed to be said so that they’d finally move forward.”
