Katherine McNamara's Favorite Relationship on 'Shadowhunters' Isn't The One You Think It Is

Katherine McNamara wears a jet black wig on the set of a secret project she’s filming on Thursday (May 17) in Paris, France.

The 22-year-old actress was seen chatting with several co-stars, including Luke Baines, before shooting scenes where she was helped by one, after seemingly being injured.

Speaking with Elle magazine recently, Katherine opened up about the mid-season finale of Shadowhunters and revealed the show friendship that she loves more than the others – Clary and…ALEC!

“One relationship I think is massively underrated, which you have seen a little of this season, is Clary and Alec,” she says. “I’ve always loved their friendship, because they want the same things. ”

Katherine continues on, “They both love Jace and they both want to do the right thing, but they go about it in such different ways because of how they were raised. I feel at this point they’ve earned respect for each other and they’ve learned how to have a camaraderie despite their differences.”

“I think neither one would admit it but they do care about each other, so I always want to see that friendship develop—it’s interesting to me.”
