Hailee Steinfeld has an exciting new project in the works that we can’t wait to see!

The 21-year-old Oscar-nominated actress will star in the upcoming movie Idol, a musical drama heading to Netflix.

The upcoming film will center “around a girl who becomes an assistant for a popular singer and then tries to become her,” according to Variety.

Hailee is one of the producers on the project, which was written by Matt King. Matt Reeves, the director of the upcoming movie The Batman, is also producing.

Hailee broke out into musicals with Pitch Perfect 2 and she went on to launch a successful career as an artist.
