Cody Simpson Announces He'll Play Dmitry in 'Anastasia' on Broadway Until April

Cody Simpson steps out for the 61st GRAMMY Nominee Celebration held at SECOND on Monday night (January 28) in New York City.

The 22-year-old singer and actor just revealed to fans that he’s extended his run on Broadway in the Anastasia musical.

“excited to announce that I’m extending my run in @AnastasiaBway another 8 weeks!” Cody tweeted. “My last show is April 14th, so we have an extra two months together.”

If you don’t know, Anastasia is based on the 1997 film of the same name, and the musical adapts the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia, who could have escaped the execution of her family.
