Elsie Fisher Shares Her Advice For Young Kids Wanting To Get Into Acting

Elsie Fisher matches her red lips to her red purse for the 2019 Directors Guild Of America Awards held at The Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center on Saturday (February 2) in Hollywood.

The 15-year-old Eighth Grade actress recently spoke with Backstage.com and shared her advice for young actors wanting to get into the business.

“Just do it if it’s something you wanna do,” Elsie shared. “You’re never an aspiring actor, you are an actor, you know? Like, if you wake up every morning and you wanna act, you’re an actor.”

“The most important thing is to find a job that you enjoy,” she added. “Do things that are important to you and you would enjoy doing.”

Elsie also encouraged young actors to try out their community theater.
