Kelsea Ballerini Teases What You'll Hear On Her Upcoming Third Album

Kelsea Ballerini is hard at work on her upcoming third album and opening up about the sound you’ll hear on the record.

In her interview with The Tennessean, the 25-year-old singer revealed that her first single from the album will be out early next month.

Kelsea also explained the kinds of songs included in the record, and the love songs on it aren’t because of her marriage to singer Morgan Evans.

“I think now that I’m married, it gives me such a perspective on the other relationships that failed me,” she explained. “I’m writing the most heartbreaking songs I’ve ever written because I understand what went wrong before now.”

Kelsea continues, “I think the older I get … the more confident I feel about writing that kind of stuff. I write my songs, and I play guitar, and I write about what I’m going through. I’m just really excited to clean the slate again.”
