Louis conceived and curated the festival, which will bring 8,500 fans to Crystal Palace Bowl in South London.

He will of course serve as the headlining act, with The Snuts, Bilk and DJ sets from Radio1′s Jess Iszatt.

The fest is in celebration of live music returning this summer after a year and a half of the pandemic. Since Louis‘ upcoming world tour is sold out, he wanted this event to be free so fans don’t have to spend money to enjoy live music.

“I’ve been sat on this idea for the last 12 months at least and now to see it come to life makes me very excited,” Louis shared in a statement. “Personally, playing live shows is the best part of what I do and it’s been far too long since I’ve seen my fans, so I wanted to put this festival on to say thank you for all the support and celebrate the return of live music. I’ve got a really good feeling it’s going to be a really special night. We all deserve that!”

Fans looking to attend the one day festival can enter the prize draw for tickets. Head to AwayFromHomeFestival.com to enter now!
