Disney Channel Reveals 'The Ghost & Molly McGee' Trailer, Gives Early Season 2 Renewal!

Huge news for Disney Channel‘s upcoming new series The Ghost and Molly McGee!!!

The new show hasn’t even premiered yet and it was just picked up for a second season already!

Ashly Burch stars as the voice of Molly McGee, with Dana Snyder as the voice of Scratch.

In addition, the series trailer and season one guest stars have also just been revealed.

The Ghost and Molly McGee is an animated buddy-comedy that follows tween optimist Molly, who lives to make the world a better place, and grumpy ghost Scratch, whose job is to spread misery.

Joining Ashly and Dana in the main cast are Jordan Klepper as Pete, Molly’s anxiously idealistic father; Sumalee Montano as the voice of Sharon and Grandma Nin, Molly’s creatively pragmatic mother and adoring grandmother, respectively; and Michaela Dietz as the voice of Darryl, Molly’s mischievously entrepreneurial brother.

Guest stars in season one include Kelsey Grammer, Natasha Rothwell, Greta Gerwig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jane Lynch, Jenifer Lewis, Danny Trejo, Aparna Nancherla, Pamela Adlon, Patton Oswalt, D’Arcy Carden, Thomas Lennon, Jessica Keenan Wynn and Sean Giambrone.

The Ghost and Molly McGee will premiere on October 1st at 9:30pm ET/PT on Disney Channel, with new episodes rolling out on Saturdays at 9am ET/PT through November 27th. Episodes will become available on Disney+ in October.

This isn’t the first time that Disney Channel has picked up an animated series for early renewal – earlier this year, The Owl House was renewed for a season three ahead of the season two premiere, and Amphibia also received an early season two and an early season three renewal.
