'Stranger Things' Could Become a Franchise, Netflix Teases Multiple Potential Spinoffs

Stranger Things is set to potentially become the next big franchise!

Netflix exec Ted Sarandos teased this week at the Code Conference in Beverly Hills that the hit series could be getting spinoffs.

He noted that the show is “a franchise being born,” via Deadline, and hinted at spinoffs.

There is also reportedly talk that Millie Bobby Brown could be the star of one of those spinoffs, as part of her own Netflix deal. She’s already been executive producing and starring in movies set for the streamer.

It was also recently revealed that seasons two and three of Stranger Things have garnered over 1 BILLION viewing hours and season three has been watched by 67 million accounts on the streaming service!

Fans have anxiously awaiting the upcoming fourth season of the show, and it finally be released in 2022. Check out the latest teaser that was just revealed last weekend during Tudum.
