'King Richard' Star Saniyya Sidney Wins at AAFCA Awards 2022
Saniyya Sidney is starting to rack up awards for her performance in King Richard!
The 15-year-old actress just won her third award for the part at the 2022 African American Film Critics Association Awards held at SLS Hotel on Wednesday (March 2) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Also in attendance were All American: Homecoming star Geffri Maya and Bel-Air‘s Cassandra Freeman, as well as Saniyya‘s King Richard co-stars Aunjanue Ellis, Layla Crawford and Daniele Lawson.

Saniyya won the Breakout Actor award, while Aunjanue picked up the award for Best Supporting Actress, while their co-star Will Smith won Best Actor and their director Reinaldo Marcus Green won for Emerging Director.
FYI: Saniyya is wearing a Carolina Herrera dress with Stuart Weitzman shoes. Geffri is wearing a Drenusha Xharra dress with Jessica Rich Collection shoes.
Earlier in the week, Saniyya and Aunjanue stepped out for the 2022 SAG Awards, where they took the stage to present their movie, which was up for Outstanding Ensemble in a Movie.
