Exciting news for fans of the The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air dramatically reimagined series Bel-Air!
It was just announced that streaming service Peacock has picked up the drama for a third season, according to THR.
The exciting news comes as the Jabari Banks-led series is currently in the midst of it’s second season, which drops new episodes on Thursdays.

Jabari Banks shows off the back of his head at the season two premiere of Bel-Air on Wednesday (February 22) at NeueHouse in Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old star of the Peacock drama got the show’s crown logo shaved into his hairline!
Also stepping out for the premiere were his co-stars Coco Jones, Olly Sholotan, Jordan L Jones, Akira Akbar, Cassandra Freeman, Adrian Holmes, Simone Joy Jones and Jimmy Akingbola, as well as creator Morgan Cooper.
Recurring guest stars in attendance included Karreuche Tran and season two newbies Jazlyn Martin, Brooklyn McLinn and Saweetie, who will play herself.
Season two picks up with Will (Banks) at a crossroads as a new figure comes into his life who challenges what he’s learned in Bel-Air and competes for control of his influence. He juggles this while navigating his home life with the Banks family and trying to rebuild the trust that was broken at the end of last season.

The first episode of season two is now streaming on Peacock, with new episodes weekly on Thursdays.

In the teaser for the new season, we are treated to an original The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor, who will have a recurring guest starring role.
Previously, a handful of other season two guest stars were revealed, with some from season one also returning.

The gang’s all back for the upcoming second season of Bel-Air!
Peacock has revealed the first look photos and teaser trailer for the dramatic reimagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
“Man, it feels so good to be back! The response from the fans in season one was electrifying, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Carla Waddles taking the reins as showrunner for season two,” series creator and executive producer Morgan Cooper shared. “She has an incredible perspective and voice that jumps off the page and challenges our amazing cast to go even deeper in their character journeys. The future of our show is bright and I can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for the Banks family in season two.”

Saniyya Sidney is starting to rack up awards for her performance in King Richard!
The 15-year-old actress just won her third award for the part at the 2022 African American Film Critics Association Awards held at SLS Hotel on Wednesday (March 2) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Also in attendance were All American: Homecoming star Geffri Maya and Bel-Air‘s Cassandra Freeman, as well as Saniyya‘s King Richard co-stars Aunjanue Ellis, Layla Crawford and Daniele Lawson.
