Lightning McQueen & Mater Go On Road Trip In 'Cars on the Road' Trailer - Watch!

A brand new Cars series is coming to Disney+ this fall!!

BFFs Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) hit the road in the upcoming Cars on the Road, heading east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with Mater’s sister.

“The series is a romp across the country with Lightning McQueen and Mater,” director Steve Purcell shared in a statement. “Like any real road trip, every day is a new mini-adventure with unexpected twists and turns.”

Fans will be introduced to several new characters, as well as seeing many familiar faces like Flo, Sally and more.

Cars on the Road will consist of nine new episodes and it will debut on Disney+ Day, Thursday, September 8th, which will lead into the D23 Expo!
