Daniel Curtis Lee Wasn’t in the original Ned’s Declassified Pilot

Daniel Curtis Lee and his character Cookie were not originally a part of the show.

“They shot a pilot before my character was even introduced. Now, I auditioned for that pilot, but… I made it very far in my auditions,” Daniel said.

“We filmed the pilot for Ned’s that had a different third best friend, [played by] Stephen Markarian,” Devon added. His character was Boogie. Stephen eventually went on to play Albert Wormenheimer / Sweaty Kid across several episodes.
