Sofia Carson will be hitting the stage at the upcoming 2023 Oscars!
The 29-year-old singer has been officially announced to perform her Oscar-nominated song “Applause” alongside songwriter Diane Warren.
While it is presumed that the Original Song nominees will perform, it’s not always guaranteed.
“Honored beyond words,” Sofia shared on Twitter with the announcement.

“Applause” marks the 14th career nomination for Original Song at the Oscars for Diane.
The beautiful song is from the film Tell It Like a Woman, and is an “a beautiful and deeply timely reminder to applaud ourselves for how far we’ve come, and to applaud ourselves for how far we will go. Because we fight like women, we survive like women, and we do it together,” Sofia previously said.
