Niall Horan Reveals 1 Thing He Doesn't Like About Being on 'The Voice'

Niall Horan is opening up about his upcoming first season of The Voice!

The 29-year-old musician joins the music competition series as a coach, alongside the returning Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson and fellow new coach Chance the Rapper.

In a new interview, Niall dished on what it’s been like so far, turning his chair for people and what he doesn’t like about it.

“You basically go for someone you feel you can actually help, and it’s not just for the TV show,” Niall told Bru on Audacy Check In. “So my favorite type of music is like singer-songwriter, someone with a unique tone that actually gives you chills, and that’s what I was waiting for. We see nearly 100 people and you just have to pick your moments while trying to accumulate a team.”

“I really enjoyed it. I had so much fun doing them, like the early part of the show’s so fun. The rest of it is hard, to make decisions, people have to go home. Having been on a show like that, it’s just, watching their little faces when you’re going, ‘Okay, you have to go home.’ It’s so terrible,” he added.

As for what he doesn’t like?

“The only thing I don’t like about it is the power that I have,” Niall shared.
