Original Broadway Cast Member Ashley Park Joins 'Mean Girls' Movie Musical

Ashley Park is racking up the roles, and her latest is extra special!

The Emily In Paris star was just announced to be joining the cast of the upcoming Mean Girls movie musical, according to ET.

“Eeee! 💕 so FETCHin excited 💞,” she shared on her Instagram story.

If you didn’t know, Ashley actually originated the role of Gretchen Wieners on Broadway!

While Ashley had a starring role in the Broadway musical adaptation, she is reported to just have a cameo in the upcoming movie musical adaptation.

She even received a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical back in 2018!

It was also recently announced that Ashley joined the cast of the upcoming third season of Only Murders in the Building, playing a Broadway ingenue, of course.

She’ll also be starring in the upcoming movie Joy Ride, as well as serving as a guest judge on Next in Fashion season two.
