Disney+ Announces 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' Final Season, Reveals 'Visions' Volume 2 Cast & Trailer

Disney+ has revealed some big news about it’s animated Star Wars shows!

The announcements come from the Star Wars Celebration on Monday (April 10) in London.

Among the latest is that the upcoming third season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will be it’s last, debuting in 2024.

Fans in attendance got a sneak peek, which included the return of Ming-Na Wen’s fan-favorite bounty hunter, Fennec Shand.

Another animated Star Wars series that is coming back is Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, which is currently in production on season two.

The trailer and full cast were revealed for volume two of Star Wars: Visions.

The upcoming episodes will feature the voice talents of Eva Whittaker in “Screecher’s Reach,” Maxine Peake and Chrithra Chandran in “I Am Your Mother,” Ashley Park and Eugene Lee Yang in the English dub of “Journey to the Dark Head,” Suraj Sharma in “The Bandits of Golak,” Daveed Diggs in “The Pit” and Cynthia Erivo in “Aau’s Song.”

The new episodes will release on Star Wars Day, May 4th, on Disney+.

Last but not least, the trailer for the first ever preschool Star Wars series, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, was released.

The upcoming series, also premiering May 4th on Disney+ and Disney Junior, is set during The High Republic era, and follows Jedi younglings as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills needed to become Jedi along the way.

Starring in the show are Jamaal Avery, Jr. as Kai Brightstar, Juliet Donenfeld as Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker as Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Jonathan Lipow as RJ-83, Piotr Michael as Master Yoda, Trey Murphy as Taborr Val Dorn and Nasim Pedrad as Master Zia.
