J.K. Rowling Reveals Part One of 'History of the Quidditch World Cup'

J.K. Rowling posted the first part of History of the Quidditch World Cup on Pottermore.

Part one gives devoted Harry Potter fans inside information on the history of the game, how it got started, how it works, and details on controversial Quidditch games, such as the Tournament Nobody Remembers.

Part two of J.K.‘s long-form piece will be released this Friday (March 21) and will include “amusing recaps of some notable recent matches that have been held every four years since 1990,” according to the site.

Pottermore, which opened in April 2012, has given fans a chance to stay involved with the story that was a big part of their life.
