The first official trailer for Tim Burton’s upcoming movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is here!

The trailer welcomes viewers into the world of Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) and the gifted orphans who live in her special home.

Jake (Asa Butterfield) is introduced to the children and their “peculiarities,” like invisibility and the ability to grow plants at will.

He soon discovers he’s responsible for protecting the children from an evil force that threatens them (Samuel L. Jackson).

The movie is set to hit theaters September 30.
