Nastia Liukin & Fiance Matt Lombardi Postpone Their Wedding

Nastia Liukin has decided to hold off on her upcoming wedding to fiance Matt Lombardi.

The 27-year-old Olympic gold medalist and her fiance have postponed their wedding as they take a break from wedding plans and focus on living in the moment.

“My career has been so crazy, we both felt it was best to take a breather and focus on spending time with each other,” Nastia told People mag. “We’re together, we’re engaged and we are postponing.”

Nastia and Matt got engaged back in 2015, and were set to get married on June 24 in Rhode Island, but the gymnast says they will most likely tie the knot next summer.

“I’m really obviously very excited to spend the rest of my life with him,” Nastia said. “We bought a house in December and started a news business together and we just kind of wanted to take a second and pause and breath.”
