Madelaine Petsch Doesn't Mind Being Mean to Lili Reinhart on 'Riverdale'

Madelaine Petsch and Lili Reinhart may be BFFs IRL, but that certainly isn’t the case on Riverdale — and they’re okay with that.

“People ask me all the time: How can I be so mean to my best friends?” Madelaine recounted on Sweetwater Secrets, “but those are the people you want to do it with.”

“If I was to be an awful human being like Cheryl to people I didn’t know I would be mortified,” she continued.

That definitely makes sense: filming fighting scenes with your best friend would be much more comfortable than a complete stranger!

“It was really fun too to have the dynamic change between Betty and Cheryl,” Madelaine continued, referring to a scene from last week’s episode. “I think it was a really cool moment.”
