5 Seconds of Summer Announce New Album 'Youngblood'; Out on June 22nd!

5 Seconds of Summer has finally announced their brand new album and it’s coming out so soon!

The guys – Luke Hemmings, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford – had been dropping clues all over social media since they released their comeback single “Want You Back”, and we finally have a album name and drop date!

Youngblood will be out on June 22nd – just a few months before the launch of their summer tour.

“Growing up is what we had to do on Youngblood,” Luke shared in a statement. “Seven years as a band may seem like a long time, but we were teenagers when we started. We had to look at each other and say, ‘Are we going to stop now, or do this forever? Because if we continue, then we have to go farther than we ever have before.’”

The band’s summer tour, called “The Meet You There Tour”, will launch on August 27th and with each ticket, you’ll also get a copy of Youngblood. How cool is that?

Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, April 13 at 10 AM local time at LiveNation.com.
