Ashleigh Murray Might Not Be Leaving 'Riverdale' For 'Katy Keene', This Co-Star Says

Ashleigh Murray dances on the runway for The American Heart Association’s 2019 Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday night (February 7) in New York City.

The Riverdale star wowed in a striped Stella Nolasco dress for the annual event, which raises awareness for women’s heart health.

Just recently, Ashleigh‘s co-star and new on-screen step brother Casey Cott opened up about the recent news that she’d be joining the Katy Keene spinoff series.

“I don’t know much about Katy Keene but it sounds unbelievable. Roberto [Aguirre-Sacasa], our writer, is working on that and Michael Grassi is writing it as well and he’s one of my favorite writers. It’s gonna be epic! And Ashleigh is just awesome,” Casey shared about the project. “I’m so excited for her in every capacity.”

But does that mean she’s really leaving Riverdale? Casey says that he thinks “she’s still going to be in Riverdale too. So, don’t worry about that.”
