Simone Biles Speaks Out After Brother's Murder Charge

Simone Biles is breaking her silence after her brother Tevin Biles-Thomas was charged with murder.

The 22-year-old Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast shared a statement on her Twitter account and noted she’s “still having a hard time processing last weeks news.”

“My heart aches for everyone involved, especially for the victims and their families. There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy,” Simone wrote in the statement. “I ask everyone to please respect my family’s privacy as we deal with our pain. XO.”

Tevin was arrested last week in connection with the murders of three people in Cleveland back on New Year’s Eve. His charges include “six counts of murder, five counts of felonious assault, three counts of voluntary manslaughter and one count of perjury.”
