The 22-year-old “Sorry” singer was among the many performers who hit the rehearsal that day to perfect their numbers for Sunday’s show.
Also taking the stage to run through their acts were DNCE, Nick Jonas, Lukas Graham and Shawn Mendes.

It’s official – Shawn Mendes has been added to the line-up for the upcoming 2016 Billboard Music Awards!
There’s no word on what the 17-year-old Canadian singer will sing that night, but perhaps his hit “Stitches”?
He’s also been working on a ton of new music too, so you never know!
Shawn joins other performers announced, including DNCE.
