The 2017 Grammys are kicking off their weekend of festivities with a bang!
Some of music’s biggest stars – Zayn Malik, Fifth Harmony‘s Normani Kordei, Jane Zhang, Noah Cyrus and her “Make Me (Cry)” collaborator Labrinth, The Weeknd, DJ Khaled, Kelsea Ballerini, Jason Derulo, Skylar Grey, Dua Lipa and G-Eazy – stepped out to live it up at Billboard’s Power 100 Celebration held at Cecconi’s on Thursday (February 9) in West Hollywood.
The event honored the year’s most important and influential executives, awarding the top spot to Spotify founder and CEO Daniel Ek.
“Congrats to my big brother @salxco on his billboard power100,” The Weeknd captioned with his Instagram post. “Every year our year. XO”

Demi Lovato and Tori Kelly just got added to the 2017 Grammys line-up!
The ladies will join Andra Day on stage for a tribute to the Bee Gees.

They join an already amazing list of performers that includes Adele, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd, Kelsea Ballerini, and more.

The 2017 Grammys line-up just got a whole lot better because Kelsea Ballerini is set to hit the stage for a performance!
The 23-year-old country singer was just added to the list of performers that also includes Adele, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd, and more.

“And just like that, it gets even more real. See you Sunday!” she tweeted upon the announcement.
Kelsea is nominated for Best New Artist, up against The Chainsmokers, Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris, and Anderson .Paak.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are making sure they’re spending Grammys weekend together, according to TMZ.
The couple want to be involved in each other’s plans for the iconic music event and will be attending parties together!
The Weeknd has already made Selena his plus 1 for Clive Davis‘ massive annual party.
His team has even contacted The Recording Academy to get his seat switched so he can be next to Selena during the show!
Although The Weeknd will be performing and Selena is not, it sounds like it’ll be a memorable event for both of them!

A new report just emerged that Justin Bieber won’t be attending the 2017 Grammys!
Apparently, the 22-year-old entertainer, who is up for 4 awards that night, doesn’t believe the show is “relevant or representative,” especially with concern to young artists.
This thinking got started with Frank Ocean, who didn’t even submit his album for consideration this year (though there are reports that it was not even eligible). Frank reportedly believes that the Grammys do not represent “young, black artists,” TMZ reports.
Kanye West and Drake apparently both agree with this sentiment, and also won’t be attending the February 12 show.
Demi Lovato is opening up about her first-ever Grammy nomination!
The 24-year-old singer is up for Best Pop Vocal Album for Confident.

“The way that I found out was getting a phone call really early in the morning and my assistant came in and said ‘Phil, who is my manager, has to talk to you,” Demi told Billboard in a new video, which you can watch below. “I literally shot up and said ‘Shut the f-ck up.”
She continued, “Whenever you make an album, you’re never thinking about the end result. To be nominated for an award for the album is just an incredible feeling.”
