DJ Khaled makes it a family affair while walking the carpet at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 23) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

The music star is set to host the event and he was joined by his wife Nicole and their adorable two-year-old son Asahd.

Khaled opened up about getting to host the show.

“When the commercials come on, my son is like ‘Daddy, daddy, daddy!’ Because, you know, he watches Nickelodeon. So do I,” he said.

“It’s like, the commercial comes on every second,” he continued. “And I’m like, man, they’ve got me looking good out here. My son, to see him smile and say ‘Daddy! Daddy!’ — it really touched me.”

So much so, that we’re looking back at all the amazing looks on the orange carpet from last year’s event for a very fashionable Flashback Friday.

We had shirtless guys, powerful pins, and a ton of bold color at the 2018 show from our fave stars like Kira Kosarin, Riele Downs and Skai Jackson.

Jace Norman, Hannah Zeile and Paris Berelc gave us some sparkle in their looks, while JoJo Siwa and Daniella Perkins were all about the bursts of bright colors.

Who’s ready for the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tomorrow?!

Did you know that there are only four original categories from the first KCAs? One of them is Favorite Movie and a TON of your fave flicks have picked up the orange blimp award!

The Hunger Games franchise – including the first movie, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay – Part 1 - even picked three consecutive blimps!

This year, Aquaman, Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, The Kissing Booth, Mary Poppins Returns and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before are all up for the honor.

Ariana Grande is making her triumphant return back to her roots at Nickelodeon!

The 25-year-old former Victorious and Sam & Cat actress is set to come back to the network for an appearance at the upcoming 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards. She is up for two awards at the show – Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Song for “thank u, next”.

Ariana hasn’t been to the KCAs in five years! Last time she attended, she won the Favorite TV Actress award for her role as Cat Valentine in Sam & Cat.

Migos has been announced as the featured performers at the annual show. The trio will perform a medley of their songs. They are also nominated for the Favorite Music Group award.

Also set to hit the stage at the KCAs are Adam Sandler, Chris Pratt, Jason Sudeikis, Noah Centineo, Lana Condor, Joey King, Liza Koshy, Paris Berelc, Caleb McLaughlin, Kiernan Shipka, Ally Brooke, Josh Peck, Lilly Singh and David Dobrik, along with cast members from Disney’s Aladdin (Will Smith, Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott), Shazam! (Zachary Levi, Asher Angel and Jack Dylan Grazer) and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (Isabela Moner and Eugenio Derbez).

The UK-based musical duo are among nine digital stars representing seven countries and bringing nearly 50 million fans inside the ultimate 2019 Kids’ Choice Awards experience.

It’s safe to say that Joey King is super excited about her Kids’ Choice Award nomination!

The 19-year-old actress is up for Favorite Movie Actress for her role in The Kissing Booth and after finding out, took to Twitter with an enthusiastic reaction.

“OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I’m nominated for Favorite Movie Actress for The Kids Choice Awards!!!!!” she wrote. “AND THE KISSING BOOTH IS NOMINATED FOR BEST FILM!!!!! Thank you guys so much THIS IS FRICKEN CRAZY! #KidsChoiceAwards @Nickelodeon.”

Joey is up alongside Emily Blunt, Lupita Nyong’o, Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana.
