Jenna Ortega looks super sweet while stepping out for the 2016 Latinos de Hoy Awards held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday night (October 9) in Hollywood.

The 14-year-old Stuck in the Middle actress was joined on the carpet by Lilimar, Aimee Carrero, Chrissie Fit, Luna Blaise, Isaak Presley, Amber Coney, and Ronni Hawk.

“why people gotta be so extra sometimes,” Jenna tweeted that day, adding, “i’m so excited for Halloween!!!!!!”

Chrissie Fit is officially part of the Elena of Avalor family!

The Teen Beach Movie and Pitch Perfect 2 star has joined the new Disney Channel animated series as Princess Valentina.

Chrissie commemorated the moment on Instagram as Aimee Carrero, who voices Elena, crowned her.

“She’s been a part of my LA-Miami family for years and now @chrissiefit is joining the #ElenaofAvalor family! Couldn’t be happier to extend my flu–er, Royal Welcome to this amazing woman,” Aimee wrote on her Instagram.

The 28-year-old Young & Hungry star, who also voices Elena of Avalor, got married to her longtime love Tim Rock over the weekend in Aspen, CO!

The 28-year-old Young & Hungry actress opened up about being the voice of Disney’s first Latina princess, her upcoming wedding and more. Check it:

On her upcoming wedding: “[It's] very quickly approaching. I’m trying to take in and enjoy as much as I can�a huge challenge for an anxiety-ridden person! Both my fianc� and I will be relieved when the day finally comes and there are no more to-do lists and seating chart dramas!”

On being the voice of Elena of Avalor: “It means the absolute world to me. Latin people have been waiting a long time to see our images represented. What excites me the most about Elena of Avalor is that it features a woman of color in a powerful position, doing a great job. She is a great ambassador; not only for Latin people, but for those who are unfamiliar with our culture and traditions.”

On what young Latinas can take away from her shows: “That they are capable; that they CAN. These projects are important steps in a marathon run towards equality. I am able to play these characters because of women like Rita Moreno and Chita Rivera who paved the way. We must build on what the women who came before us have done; it is a hard, necessary, rewarding labor.”

The 28-year-old actress, and voice of Elena, was joined by co-stars Jillian Rose Reed, Joseph Nunez, Yvette Nicole Brown and creator Craig Gerber, plus Ivonne Coll, Julia Vera, Constance Marie, Chris Parnell and Danny Trejo.

Earlier in the week, Aimee screening the debut episode in Miami, Florida.

“(Elena’s) out there, making her own decisions,” Aimee shared in an interview. “She’s her own hero. There is no Prince Charming. There’s no love story there – and I think that is representative of what’s happening around the world with women. We are finding our partners later in life. We are making those commitments later in life, and we are focusing more on ourselves and what we can bring to the table before we go out and search for a partner.”

“What makes (Elena) stand out is that she is a woman of color in a position of power and is doing a great job,” she added. “She’s just a strong role model and a flawed role model. I think it’s important to remind the audience that just because you’re a leader, doesn’t mean you have all the answers.”

A few days earlier, Aimee made an appearance on Good Morning America, where she talked about playing the first Latina Disney princess.

“It means absolutely everything…Disney has been in my family a very long time and to see my culture represented is really special and I hope it will be for everybody watching,” she said.
