Amanda Steele has already made a huge name for herself in beauty and fashion.
The 17-year-old social star recently opened up and remembered just how it all started for her.
“I started when I was 10. I wanted to be a fashion designer, something I’ve wanted to do my entire life,” she shared with Paper mag. “I was looking up videos like ‘How to Sew’ and fashion related things.”
After finding the small beauty community that existed then, it was Amanda‘s turn to start teaching people — even her mom!
“I learned to do makeup [from other YouTubers],” she says. “I remember always having way more makeup than both my older sister and my mom. I ended up teaching them.”
Amanda is pictured below at the Dior Cruise 2018 Show and After Party in Malibu, Calif.
