Who else is so excited that Zac & Mia season two is finally here?! We know we are!
Anne Winters, who stars as Mia in the series, recently opened up about what fans can expect in the new season.
“The second season is so good,” Anne says. “It kind of picks up where Zac and Mia are already in a relationship, and then it kind of explores, basically, what it’s like for someone to be in recovery but also still isolated from friends and how cancer really does change your life forever.”
She continues, “It’s not something [where] you can just jump back at school and be normal again. It really does change your life, so it’s kind of dealing with that.”
Anne also says that things are not that easy for Mia this season either.
“I’m dealing with not having a leg, which is very, very hard. So, it’s a lot of physical therapy, and there’s a physical therapist that I have a relationship with. And there’s just some new characters. It’s really fun.”

Anne Winters shines in a sheer champagne dress at the 2019 Winter TCA Press Tour held at The Langham Huntington, Pasadena on Tuesday (February 5) in Pasadena, Calif.
The 24-year-old actress posed with her Grand Hotel co-stars Chris Warren and Shalim Ortiz ahead of the show’s panel during the event.
The new series centers on charismatic Santiago Mendoza (Demián Bichir), who owns the hotel, while his glamorous second wife, Gigi (Roselyn Sánchez), and their adult children enjoy the spoils of success.
The hotel’s loyal staff round out a contemporary, fresh take on an upstairs/downstairs story. Wealthy and beautiful guests bask in luxury, but scandals, escalating debt and explosive secrets hide beneath the picture-perfect exterior.
Grand Hotel, produced by Eva Longoria, will premiere on June 17th on ABC.
