Brooklyn and Bailey‘s brand-new “Simple Things” video is out, and it is so adorable.
The video portrays the story about young twin sisters who find their soulmates when they are in elementary school. As they grow, their love strengthens.
Eventually, Brooklyn and Bailey star as the twins, along with their real-life boyfriends. (We’ve confirmed the video is not autobiographical.)
The girls explain the song and video are about “the leap of faith you took when you had never fallen in love before, and felt so insignificant. The first reciprocated smile, the first time that his/her hand brushed up against yours, the butterflies in your stomach when you were about to see them again, the first kiss, etc.”
Like the title, the song is simple in the best possible way. Stripped down and focusing on Brooklyn and Bailey‘s vocals, the track really allows their voices to shine.
OH! And they wanted to be JustJaredJr. guest reporters on the red carpet.
The 17-year-old identical twins — who released their second song “Simple Things” just a couple of weeks ago — brought their boyfriends and turned their prom night into their own kinda party.
The entire event was amazing. Brooklyn and Bailey did 52 (52!) interviews and even got fellow celebrities to sing like Britney Spears (it’s hilarious, watch here).
The whole time Brooklyn‘s boyfriend, Parker, and Bailey‘s boyfriend, Asa, were standing by their side handing them water in between interviews, making sure they were totally taken care of.
Brooklyn and Bailey are going to post a vlog tomorrow, but they wanted to give JJJ readers a little tease today.
What don’t you see in this video? The two couples sharing a slow dance on the red carpet right before they went into the show.

The 17-year-old identical twins from Texas were so professional and on their toes. They even kept their cool (even though it was a million degrees outside) when one of the summer Olympics Final Five told them she subscribes to all of their channels.
OK, but there was a moment when interviewing two Pretty Little Liars cast members almost made them melt.
So many fans have been asking when they are going to get to see the girls working their reporter magic on the red carpet.
The answer is now… sort of! We are going to give you a little tease of the day, and Brooklyn and Bailey are going to post vlog about the entire experience, which we will debut.

The social star/singer twins debuted a new track called “Simple Things” this week and while fans are loving it all — one of their coolest friends, Collins Key, does too!
“Congratulations guys!!! I’m loving all of this music!!! Can’t wait for more,” Collins wrote after the girls’ uploaded the video to their YouTube account.
