LILHUDDY, aka Chase Hudson, just released the acoustic version of his song “The Eulogy of You and Me.” Check it out below!
Chase Hudson is opening up about his upcoming debut album!
The 18-year-old TikTok star turned singer, aka LILHUDDY, has been working on a full album with Blink-182 drummer and record producer Travis Barker.
“Me and Travis have been in the studio working on it quite a bit. We have an album coming in the summer, which is going to be very exciting. And I think we’re just about like 75% of the way there and about a lock in on it,” Chase said on the Rock This with Allison Hagendorf podcast.
“Travis just gets it. Like there’s no other drummer. Who are we going to go to?” he added. “And everyone he works with, he does differently than anyone else because he hears what he hears with that song specifically.”
As for his album, Chase shared that it is going to be quite different and his first song release, “21st Century Vampire” is not an indication of what the album will sound like.
“Honestly, ’21st Century Vampire’ was something that was winged. And it’s like an introduction for a story. Almost,” he told Allison. “It’s like starting a video game. It’s like, OK, this is your character. Here’s a storyline. Like that’s kind of how I think ’21st Century Vampire’ is compared to all of my other music.”
“It’s going to be a story of every relationship I went through. Put into one. It’s cool,” Chase said.
“A lot of it’s nothing like any other songs. I feel like a lot of it has its own unique meaning and has its own place in the album I have coming this summer. They’re all very different. I don’t think any two songs on the album sound the same,” he recently teased with Radio.com.
Chase Hudson and Charli D’Amelio are seen leaving dinner on Thursday night (February 18) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The friendly exes went out to hotspot BOA Steakhouse to celebrate the release of his second single.
Earlier in the day, Chase, aka LILHUDDY, dropped his new song “The Eulogy of You and Me,” along with the music video. Check it out here if you haven’t already!
“when i thought about the video for “The Eulogy of You and Me,” i imagined a wedding-funeral that signaled the death of a relationship. i envisioned us falling into a rabbit hole like alice in wonderland, filled with the memories of the relationship that was now buried in the ground 🪦🖤,” he shared on Instagram. “did you guys catch that the video is connected to 21st Century Vampire ?! 🦇”
If you missed it, Charli also has a couple of reasons to celebrate – she landed on two big lists this week, Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood 2021 list and the Time 100 Next list!
LILHUDDY, aka Chase Hudson, released his second single, “The Eulogy of You and Me” on Thursday (February 18)!
The TikTok star turned singer debuted the track and music video, and said that it was “for all my people who spent Valentine’s Day alone.”
“We’ve all experienced heartbreak from a toxic relationship at one point or another. That feeling of relief once you put an end to that relationship is so freeing,” Chase said in a statement.
“This song is a way for me to connect with my fans on a more personal level and I hope they sing it at the top of their lungs whenever they’re going through that type of situation. I am so excited to release my second single and I cannot wait for everyone to hear it!” he added.
The video, directed by Joseph Kahn, is centered around LILHUDDY’s wedding to a girl, which doubles as a funeral. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Chase kisses his bride and the ground below them opens up.
Rather than marking a new beginning, the kiss symbolizes the death of the relationship and the couple free falls through the ground, separating from each other as the memories of their relationship swirl around them. Finally, the girl finds herself standing over LILHUDDY’s grave from many years ago.

LILHUDDY, aka Chase Hudson, has debuted his very first song “21st Century Vampire,” as well as the music video!
The 18-year-old TikTok star has signed a record deal with Immersive/Geffen Records.
“It’s okay to be different. That’s the message I’m relaying. In a lot of ways, I’m a very misunderstood kid too. People don’t know the whole story or who I really am. I’ve always wanted to be my full self. Music is my way to finally show them,” Chase said in a statement.
“thank you so much for all of the love for #21stCenturyVampire !! shooting this video was one of the most fun experiences i’ve ever had. thank you for directing this @josephkahn and thanks to everyone who helped bring my vision to life 🧛🏼 out now !” he shared on Instagram about the video.
