Zendaya is looking forward to seeing her new film Dune!
The 23-year-old actress stars as Chani alongside Timothee Chalamet in the new sci-fi movie, but she actually doesn’t have a big part.
Zendaya recently opened up about why she’s excited to watch the film.
“My part is very, very small in this movie and that’s why I’m so excited to see it, to see what everyone’s been up to,” she told Empire magazine.
“[Director Denis Villeneuve and I] had a little discussion about who Chani is and the strength she possesses. She’s a fighter, that’s what her people are,” she added.
“I only really had a few days with her, so I kind of scratched the surface but it was so much fun figuring her out,” Zendaya dished about her character. “What does she walk like, what does she talk like? This is her planet, so how does she navigate this world? It was so fun.”

The two join a star-studded cast in the upcoming sci-fi flick, due out on December 18th.

The two will co-star together in the upcoming sci-fi film Dune, and she shared that they hit it off right away.
“I met Timothée Chalamet at my chemistry-read [for Dune]. I felt like we’d known each other forever, like he was my homie growing up. We became really great friends. He’s very talented,” Zendaya said in the October issue of Empire magazine, via DiscussingFilm.
