The show follows a a classically-trained professional dancer, Michelle (Sutton Foster), who impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy coastal town of Paradise, Calif.
She ends up bonding with some of her new mother-in-law Fanny’s (Kelly Bishop) dance students: sweet “Boo” (Jenkins), who would give anything to be a “bunhead” but struggles against her body type; rebellious Sasha (Goldani Telles), who possesses the classic ballet dancer’s body and talent but who’s heart isn’t quite into dancing.
Then there’s shapely Ginny (Buntain), who is not yet comfortable in her own skin; and fun-loving Melanie (Dumont), who is ready for whatever life throws at her.
Bunheads premieres Monday, June 11 at 9PM ET/PT on ABC Family.

Bunheads follows Michelle Simms (Sutton Foster), a classically-trained professional dancer who was drawn to the lights of Las Vegas. After the lights lose their shine, she impulsively marries a man, moves to his sleepy coastal town of Paradise, Calif., and takes an uneasy role at her new mother�in�law’s (Kelly Bishop) dance school.
