Billie Eilish is opening up about when she wrote “What Was I Made For?” with brother Finneas.
The 26-year-old’s song is of course featured on the Barbie movie soundtrack, and is during a pivotal moment in the hit movie.
In a new magazine cover story, Billie revealed that when they wrote the song, they weren’t feeling inspired or creative.

The ladies were also seen meeting up all together at the big event, with a little Disney Channel reunion between Ariana and Dove!

Billie Eilish wears a sheer look as she attends the 2023 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 21-year-old “Happier Than Ever” singer was joined at the event by her older brother Finneas, who was seen wearing a trench coat and sunglasses.
Billie wore a custom Simone Rocha look for the night, with Piferi platforms and Cartier jewelry. Finneas also donned Cartier sunglasses and jewelry.
Of her hairstyle for the event, hairstylist Benjamin Mohapi opened up about the Karl Lagerfeld inspiration for Billie‘s look at the Met Gala.
“Whenever I think of Lagerfeld, I think of black bows,” he told Vogue.
“I finished the look with barrettes stacked into the loose texture of the hair pulled back,” Benjamin added. “This invokes the same punk spirit Lagerfeld injected into Chanel and mirrors Billie’s own nonconformist attitude.”

Billie Eilish and boyfriend Jesse Rutherford hit the carpet together at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars After Party held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (March 12) in Beverly Hills.
The 21-year-old singer and her musician beau were seen holding hands while posing for photos together.
Billie‘s older brother Finneas and his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski were also in attendance at the annual event.
The year before, Billie and Finneas picked up the Best Original Song Oscar for their James Bond theme song, “No Time to Die.”
This is the second red carpet appearance for Billie and Jesse, as they made their debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala back in November 2022.
FYI: Billie is wearing Rick Owens. Finneas is wearing Giorgio Armani.

4*Town has a brand new music video out now for their song “1 True Love“!
The fictional boy band from the Disney/Pixar movie Turning Red consists of members Aaron Z., Aaron T., Robaire, Jesse and Tae Young, and have three full songs on the soundtrack.
The video follows the character Tyler from the movie, who is a bully with a major secret love for 4*Town, and we see part of his love for the boy band.

The performers have been revealed for this year’s Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest!
This year’s show will take place from four locations, including Times Square in New York, of course, Los Angeles, New Orleans and for the first time, Disneyland.
Ryan Seacrest will be back to ring in the new year in NYC, along with co-host Liza Koshy and Powerball co-host Jessie James Decker.
Billy Porter returns to host from New Orleans, while Ciara will host from Disneyland.
Just announced on the performers list include a few current and former Disney stars – The Little Mermaid‘s Halle Bailey, Dove Cameron and Aly & AJ.

Emma Chamberlain hits the black carpet at the 2022 GQ Men of the Year Party held at The West Hollywood Edition on Thursday evening (November 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 21-year-old YouTube star was joined by her boyfriend Role Model, though they walked the carpet separately and did not pose for photos together.
Also seen stepping out were musicians like Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, Daniel Seavey, Landon Barker and Charlie Puth, as well as Finneas and Josh Levi, whose song “Nobody Like U” from Turning Red was just nominated for a Grammy!
