Sofia Richie almost matches boyfriend Jake Andrews from head to toe while out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (June 18).
The 16-year-old model daughter of Lionel Richie recently chatted with Dazed magazine about not splashing into the music world just yet.
“I want everything I do to be taken seriously. That’s something my dad taught me. I don’t wanna go through a transition from child star to a star,” she shared.
But that doesn’t mean Sofia doesn’t have a sound all ready to go: “I’m into an R&B, edgy sound — not strict pop music.”

Sofia Richie follows boyfriend Jake Andrews after grabbing a bite to eat at Mauro’s Cafe at Fred Segal on Wednesday afternoon (June 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 16-year-old emerging model shared her new feature in the summer issue of Dazed magazine.
“Sometimes I think how weird it is that girls look up to me. But I definitely feel a responsibility to set a good example and represent,” Sofia shared in her mini-interview.
She added, “I feel like a lot of people try to look like something they’re not. It’s not realistic to always be perfect and flawless.”

Speaking with Popular mag recently, Sofia gave a shout out to her older sister, Nicole.
“Nicole [Richie, her big sister] has taught me that if you want something good, it doesn’t just happen� You have to work for it,” she shared.
