Jamie Chung reaches her arm up high for a selfie with Jessica Szohr, Abigail Breslin, and Hannah Bronfman at the grand opening event of Birchbox’s flagship store opening event in New York City on Thursday evening (July 10).
“We set it up like an Internet store,” co-founder Katia Beauchamp told the New York Daily News about the new shop.
Customers can shop category — lips, hair, eyes — and a “Try Bar” where you can test out looks. You can also build your own Birchbox, filling the box with pick 5 sample-sized products for $15. Nice!
The store also includes a hair, makeup and nails studio downstairs where women can get a quick braid or polish change with a plan to hold group classes on how to master tricks like contouring.
