The 24-year-old “No Tears Left to Cry” singer and Jimmy Fallon went head to head during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (May 1) in New York City.
When Ariana Grande said she’d be on The Tonight Show, we expected to get some cool scoop from her… but not this much!!!
The 24-year-old singer just revealed the title of her album, when it will be released, and some of the songs you can expect to hear on it.
The album is titled Sweetener and Ariana said that she will be doing big things on the 20th of each month as she prepares for it to be released. It will come out on July 20!
“It’s kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone’s life, or about somebody that brings light to your life, or sweetening the situation,” Ariana said of the album title.
Some of the songs that you can expect to hear on the album are lead single “No Tears Left to Cry,” “R.E.M.,” “The Light is Coming,” “God is a Woman,” and the first track “Raindrops.”
Ariana also revealed that she will be performing at the Billboard Music Awards on May 20!
During her appearance, Zoey talked to Jimmy about her famous actress mom and director dad, gave herself a facelift with a unique party trick and reacted to appearing on Kim Kardashian‘s Instagram story.
During her appearance, Katherine walked Jimmy through her journey from watching Claire Foy win a Golden Globe for The Crown on TV to sitting next to her the following year as a nominee for 13 Reasons Why. She also discussed meeting Brie Larson and Reese Witherspoon, and bursting into tears.
“I just started crying and sobbing like an idiot,” she laughed.
The track is the lead single from Meghan‘s upcoming third studio album. Meghan previously explained that the song, which is about respect, was one of the last written for her new album.
