Kay Panabaker keeps close to pal Devon Werkheiser as they attend The Starlight Foundation‘s Great Escape Event held at the Bony Pony Ranch on Wednesday afternoon (August 19) in Malibu, Calif.
The duo plus actor Dominic Scott Kay hung out with Starlight kids at the ranch by having a picnic and visiting the many animals that reside there. This includes horses, alpacas, Texas longhorn steer, desert tortoises, and even tigers!
Great Escapes is designed to make a sick child feel extraordinarily special, from the personalized invitations to being greeted by name at every event. But more importantly, Great Escapes also make the children feel incredibly normal as they experience fun activities in a friendly, accepting environment.

Fame starlets Kay Panabaker and Anna Maria Perez De Tagle light up the carpet at Hollywood Life‘s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage on Sunday (June 7) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Kay, 19, also attended the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s “Great Escape” Event at the Cal Bowl on Saturday (June 6).

Kay recently took to her MySpace, answering fans questions about what’s next for her after Fame. She wrote, saying, “I did a pilot for CBS at the end of March. I don’t know if it will get picked up, but we shall see!!”
