We’re only a couple of weeks away until the premiere of Knight Squad on Nickelodeon — and stars Daniella Perkins and Owen Joyner are spilling all the secrets!
In their cover story for Popstar!, the two actors opened up about their castmates, the stories you’ll see and more.
“We’ve been putting in a lot of effort,” Daniella says of working on the show. “It’s a really, really cool show. It has just great meaning and message to give out to people — it’s just a good show.”

The 2018 Television season is just a few days away and while we’re eagerly waiting for our faves to return, we have a handful of new shows that we can’t wait to premiere.

The 16-year-old actor, who played Parker *insert mysterious/still not revealed middle name here* Rooney on the show, will be guest starring on Nickelodeon’s new series, Knight Squad.
Revealed by Ron Hart this morning, Tenzing will be playing a character named Jimbo. No word on yet this is a one time thing, recurring, or may turn into a regular gig.
While we don’t know much about the episode Tenzing will be appearing in, we do know that it’s hilarious, courtesy of series star Lilimar.

Nickelodeon’s new series Knight Squad has officially started filming.
“So, here’s some huge news … filming for #KnightSquad began yesterday!!!” the shows’ account tweeted. “Been waiting for this and I’m now sooo excited!!!”
Knight Squad is about a magical school for knights in training, where two mismatched students form an unlikely alliance to protect each other’s secret and pursue their dreams. It’s also brought to us by the Liv and Maddieshowrunners, so it’s sure to be good.
