Laura Benanti has been added to the major lineup of actors on Gossip Girl!
The Tony-winning actress has landed a role opposite previously announced stars Emily Alyn Lind, Tavi Gevinson, Eli Brown, and more, Deadline reveals.
Details on the show have been kept very under wraps, and very little is known about the upcoming reboot, but we do “will address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years.”
Also starring in the reboot include Whitney Peak, Johnathan Fernandez, Jordan Alexander, Savannah Smith, Evan Mock, Jason Gotay, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat, Savannah Smith and Zion Moreno.
JJJ readers may very recognizably remember Laura from her roles as Alura Zor-El amd Astra on Supergirl, and perhaps her roles on Younger and Nashville.
