Now, the 16-year-old singer is opening up about the song, future music and more in a new interview with Idolator.
“I realized early on that my fans are pretty young. ‘My Story’ is quite a young song and I think it’s a good introduction because I have something to grow from,” Loren says of the song. “And it’s catchy, cute and fun. But I’m definitely gonna transition. It was a good starting point.”
She also opened up about when we can expect her next single. Spoiler: it’s really soon!
“Right now, I’m kind of focusing on singles. And once I have a few more singles out and I know what my sound is gonna be, then I’m definitely looking into an EP,” she shared. “I just want to make sure it’s something I’m proud of so, I’m not rushing into it.”
Loren adds that the next song might be released “later this month. It’s very exciting and it’s very different. It’s a big leap from ‘My Story,’ but I think it’s a good leap. It’s a bit more rhythmic.”

Speaking with EW recently, Noah opened up about the next roles he’d love to take on, following Sierra, and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.
“I’d really like to do some auteur, existential pieces, darker films, something that’s really reflective of life,” Noah revealed. “But I also love the genre of rom-coms and I don’t see myself completely detaching from that.”
He added that action is genre that could be right around the corner from him too.
“I would love to do an action film. There’s actually a film right now — they’re looking for the right female role but I read the script and I’m absolutely in love with it,” Noah says. “It’s rare that I read a script and I immediately go, ‘This is perfect. I can see myself in this.’”
“But when I read this one, I was like, ‘This is a role that I know I can kill and it’s an action film and it’s hilarious and it’s dramatic and it’s so good.’”
