The annual Teen Vogue 21 Under 21 list has been revealed!
Actresses Lexi Underwood and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan are among the honorees this year, which recognizes the girls and femmes who are building a better future.
Past honorees include Chloe x Halle, Marsai Martin, Josie Totah, Hunter Schafer, Anna Cathcart, Lachlan Watson and more.
The 2020 list also includes ‘Savage’ dance creator Keara Wilson, Indigenous climate activist Quannah Chasinghorse, STEM pioneer Karina Popovich, Anika Chebrolu, who invented a potential therapy for COVID-19 and more.
“If one of my posts, Zoom meetings, speeches, or conversations have changed at least one person’s heart, enhanced the education of someone… or even made someone feel validated and seen, then the seed has been successfully planted. Through our collective work, I’m hopeful that we’ll see change,” Lexi told the site.
“No matter where you want to create change, you’ve got to start with yourself. Do your research and dive deep,” Maitreyi shared. “Really be confident in yourself, the idea that you can make change, and just be your own best friend. Support and be kind to yourself through whatever you are facing.”
