The castmates attended the film’s premiere – including a gala screening, photo call, and press conference – at Le Grand Rex on Wednesday (May 8).
They were joined by director Guy Ritchie and composer Alan Menken.

Mena Massoud‘s press tour for Aladdin is in full swing and he’s opening up about the process for auditioning for the movie.
The 27-year-old actor stopped by the Build Series for an interview on Monday (May 6) in New York City.
“I sent in an audition tape when it came out to the world. They had put on all these public casting calls and my agent sent me a request to put in a tape. And then we didn’t hear anything for four months. Usually, as an actor, if you didn’t hear back in a month, it’s usually dead in the water, so I moved on from it as actors do and I forgot about it,” Mena said.
“Four months later we get a call… so from that point things picked up. I did another tape. I flew to London twice to test for it with Naomi [Scott] a few times. And then I booked it,” he added.
Aladdin really does give Jasmine the best view of Agrabah in this new clip from Aladdin.
The scene is right before the iconic “A Whole New World”.
“Filming it, you’re surrounded by blue screen, you’re on this foam carpet that kind of moves and is really uncomfortable, and the wind’s blowing,” Naomi Scott recently shared with USA Today about the scene.
She continues, In people’s minds, you think, ‘Oh my gosh, that must have been the most magical moment,’ when really it probably wasn’t. Poor Mena’s [Massoud] not got very strong ankles so he’s kneeling on this flipping foam thing going, ‘When are we done?!’”
“That’s the reality of it. But when I see it on screen is when I think it will hit me.”

Jasmine catches Aladdin in the act of stealing from the palace in the latest TV spot for Aladdin.
The upcoming live action movie is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin (Mena Massoud), the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) and the Genie (Will Smith), who may be the key to their future.
Based on the 1992 animated film, and classic story, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad and Billy Magnussen also star in the flick.
Chris Pratt and Will Smith both got hit with a ton of slime while appearing on stage on Saturday (March 23) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles!
Chris won the award for Favorite Butt-Kicker for his work in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom while Will was on stage to present with his Aladdin co-stars Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott.
The stars of Aladdin took a magic carpet ride for their entrance on stage and then granted wishes to the audience!
The movie will be hitting theaters on May 24 and we absolutely can’t wait. Did you see the new trailer in which Mena and Naomi sing “A Whole New World” as Aladdin and Jasmine?!
