Merrick Hanna broke our hearts (and wowed us with his talent) during his first performance on America’s Got Talent, so we were so glad to see him add some joy to his dance moves for his second appearance on the show!

The super talented 12-year-old dancer did a unique dance to the song “Something Wild” by Lindsey Stirling and Andrew McMahon.

While judge Simon Cowell didn’t love the song choice, he still gave Merrick a standing ovation!

“The way that you managed to tell the story within your performance makes you different, relevant, cool,” Simon said during his critique.

The first night of America’s Got Talent season 12 just wrapped up and we already have a favorite – 12-year-old dancer Merrick Hanna!

The young boy put his dance moves on display during his audition and he got a standing ovation for his performance, in which he told emotional story though dance.

Simon Cowell told Merrick that he would love to have him dance in music videos for his artists and that he will show this video to his record label immediately.
