Mindless Behavior steps out at the 2012 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon (August 25) in New York City.
The guys — Roc Royal, Princeton, Prodigy and Ray Ray — are leaving their former, higher voices for a new sound on their upcoming album.
Prodigy told Billboard, “We’re not how we grew up saying, [in a falsetto voice] ‘Hey my girl, my girl…’ No. Our voices ain’t going to sound like that anymore; like Alvin and the Chipmunks.”
Princeton adds, “We have the best fans and the best part of our fans is, our fans are growing up with us too. What they’re doing, we’re doing and the music they’re listening to, we’re listening to. So we just hope our fans stay with us until we’re 50.”
