Neel Sethi suits up alongside co-star Sir Ben Kingsley, and director Jon Favreau at the premiere of The Jungle Book held at BFI IMAX on Wednesday (April 13) in London, England.
“I liked that, that it was so playgroundish!” the 10-year-old actor shared about the live-action set. “And Jon really changed things up, whenever it got a little boring. It would make me excited again: ‘Oooooh, what’s next?’ I thought that was really cool.”
Neel added, “I enjoyed that the animals were not really there – and now they are. They look so real. It’s really amazing! And Baloo is my favorite animal.”

“At first, I didn’t know the science behind everything and how it all worked, but now I do. There was a lot of makeupthat part took an hour and a half a day!” Neel explained in the issue.
He also opened up about being the only live actor in the movie, “It feels pretty cool. I know this doesn’t happen that often, but when it does people think it’s pretty cool. People say the animals are cool and ask if they’re real. They ask so many questions because they know there’s no one else in the movie they can ask!”
