If you’ve been anxiously awaiting the great Hayley and Elijah romance to happen in the next Originals scene you see, you’re going to be disappointed.

While we know that their relationship was going to be filled with a bit of drama this season, actress Phoebe Tonkin admits that the entire relationship has been put on the back burner right now.

“As much as Hayley is happy to have [Elijah] back, her priority is still Hope’s safety,” she reveals. “She can’t focus on a romantic relationship that might become too time-consuming.”

Hope is all Hayley is focusing on right now.

“As her daughter gets older and becomes a little human being, Hayley becomes even more protective,” Phoebe adds. “So that’s her focus, to protect her kid.”

Fayana is definitely not dead!

Former Secret Circle co-stars Phoebe Tonkin and Shelley Hennig reunited once again and shared just about the silliest Instagram ever.

“Some people find nudes in their camera roll,” Shelley captioned on her Instagram. “Adventures of #fayana @phoebejtonkin.”

The silly collage of pics didn’t feature any nudity whatsoever, but just about everything else — a wrapper on the counter, a close up of a Phoebe and Shelley selfie (which is super cute!), luggage, and posing for pics in the kitchen.

You will definitely feel the friction between Hayley and Freya on tonight’s episode of The Originals.

Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hayley, has opened up about their dislike for each other on the show right now, saying, “They’re both very pivotal in the men’s decisions, and sometimes Hayley and Freya have conflicting opinions.”

She continues, “They’ve both been starved of family for so long, in their respective ways, that they feel very protective of their family. They just don’t necessarily see eye to eye on how to support or advise their family members.”

So, will they ever move past it all? “I think you’re going to see a little bit of that kind of conflict, in the next few episodes.”

Phoebe adds, “That’s something that we do explore, and that’s really nice to have. Freya and Hayley didn’t have much to do with each other last season, so it’s really nice to play with that, this season.”

Are Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin back together already?

The former couple was seen chatting and walking around the farmers market together on Sunday morning (March 19) in Los Angeles.

It’s unclear if they are back together or just friends, but Paul and Phoebe recently called it quits after nearly four years of dating.

“They are still good friends,” a source said at the time. “The relationship just ran its course.”

They met on set of The Vampire Diaries during season three. Paul was previously married to Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto.

Phoebe Tonkin might be on The Originals now, but she first brought Hayley Marshall to life on The Vampire Diaries.

The actress is paying tribute to the series, which concludes with an epic finale tonight, on social media.

“I cannot believe tonight is the last episode of #thevampirediares ever,” Phoebe wrote.

“You guys have been my family for the last 5 years, Julie and Kevin, thank you for inviting me onto the show in season 4, I owe so much to you guys and this incredible opportunity you gave me, my life would most definitely not be the same without it, and I am eternally gratefully.”

She added, “I love you all to pieces, congrats on such an EPIC 8 seasons.”

Phoebe Tonkin and Paul Wesley are no longer dating.

The Vampire Diaries actor and Originals actress have broken up after almost four years together, JustJaredJr.com can confirm.

“They are still good friends,” a source told E! News. “The relationship just ran its course.”

The former couple was last spotted flying to Sydney to spend the holidays with her family.

Meanwhile, Paul is keeping busy and is currently in Toronto directing an episode of Shadowhunters.

The Originals actress will most likely be attending Chanel‘s show during Paris Fashion Week in the coming days, after arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport over the weekend.
