Twitter is starting testing on a brand new feature!
The social media app is launching “Fleets”, which will be ephemeral tweets that self-destruct after 24 hours, Variety reports.
“Fleets” will of course be similar to Snapchat and Instagram Story videos where they only last for one day.
“Unlike Tweets, Fleets disappear after 24 hours and don’t get Retweets, Likes, or public replies– people can only react to your Fleets with DMs. Instead of showing up in people’s timelines, Fleets are viewed by tapping on your avatar,” Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour said in a series of tweets.
Many Twitter users are sure to be upset that the social media site is testing this new feature instead of an edit button, which has been asked for for many years.
The “Fleets” feature is currently only testing in Brazil.

On the big day, more than 1,300 delegates — about a third of the total — are up for grabs, marking a deciding factor in choosing the Democratic candidate for the 2020 presidential election who will go up against President Donald Trump.

Ever since the character appeared in Star Wars: The Mandalorian, fans have been dying to get their hands on merch, and it’s coming.
Disney has unveiled its plans for plush toys of the viral, lovable child version of Yoda, which will be released on March 12th.
The Child plush stands at 11 inches tall and features a faux suede coat with fuzzy trims.
Toy makers Hasbro and Mattel also have plans to release their own versions, which will be out in April and May, ComicBook.com reports. Their versions will also be slightly different with squeezable electronic sounds and vinyl heads.

Build-A-Bear just revealed their newest bears and they’re Halloween related!
The teddy bear company released their Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas mini collection featuring Jack Skellington and Sally.
Each online exclusive bear comes in a bundle, which includes the bear itself, the outfit, and a sound chip with a song from the movie.
Jack Skellington’s bundle runs for $55 and will feature the song “This Is Halloween.” Sally’s bundle goes for $53 and features her very own track “Sally’s Song”.

The Amazon rainforest is burning at a record rate in Brazil, CNN reports.
There has been an 80% increase in fires in the Amazon, which is a huge contributor in creating oxygen for the Earth’s atmosphere, and is considered vital in stopping global warming.
“this is heartbreaking and terrifying 💔💔💔 This makes me want to cry with frustration. what are we DOING? We’re literally destroying our miracle of a home 😭😭😭 I’m so sorry, earth 💔💔💔,” Camila shared with a repost on Instagram.
“Although I’ll admit prayer helps me breathe most days, It can’t quite do the same job the Amazon in Brazil does for the human populace (not to mention all the life forms on this planet that also need oxygen to survive.) The Amazon has been burning for the past almost 3 weeks with little to no media coverage. The Amazon is responsible for 20% of our oxygen. Gaia is screaming. We are truly so disrespectful to our children, and our grandchildren, and their children. Awareness is one thing but I truly wanna know when we’re all going to wake up and feel the poison in our lungs,” Laurenwrote in a lengthy post.

The animated series introduced it’s first ever lesbian couple on the episode airing this morning (June 15) on Discovery Family.
In “The Last Crusade”, Scootaloo’s long absent parents were revealed and as a same sex couple, Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty.
“It was something we all wanted to do — bring this out couple into the final season and make them ‘officially’ a part of the MLP world,” writer and producer Mike Vogel told Buzzfeed. “‘My Little Pony’ has always been about friendship and accepting people (or ponies) that are different from you. So it just felt like something important to do.”
This isn’t the first animated show this year to feature an out same sex couple. Just last month, the long running series Arthur introduced Mr. Ratburn coming out as gay.
Disney Parks just announced the official opening dates for the much anticipated new themed land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort’s Hollywood Studios.
Galaxy’s Edge will open on May 31, 2019, at Disneyland, and August 29th at Walt Disney World. The new land is the largest themed expansion to open in a park at 14 acres, featuring two brand new rides. It will also be opening in two phases, the first will take guests to the land of Batuu and feature the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride.
Phase two, will open later this year and will feature Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the most ambitious, immersive and advanced attraction ever imagined, which will place guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance and will blur the lines between fantasy and reality.
If you plan to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland between May 31 and June 23, you will need valid theme park admission and will be required to make a no-cost reservation, subject to availability, to access the land.
