A congrats is in order for RJ Cyler!
The 20-year-old Me and Earl and the Dying Girl actor has officially been cast in the upcoming Power Rangers movie as Billy, the Blue Ranger!
“Welcome #RJCyler to the team as the #BlueRanger in the upcoming @PowerRangersMovie!” the official Instagram account revealed.
In case you missed it, Ludi Lin will portray the Black Ranger, Naomi Scott will be the Pink Ranger, and Dacre Montgomery will take on the Red Ranger role.
Now we’re just waiting to hear about the Yellow Ranger!
Power Rangers will hit theaters on January 13, 2017!

It was just announced that Me and Earl and the Dying Girl will be released on Blu-ray and DVD in the U.S. on October 6.

RJ Cyler wears the coolest blue suit for the Me And Earl And The Dying Girl premiere held at the Sunshine Landmark on Wednesday night (June 10) in New York City.
He joined by co-stars Thomas Mann, Olivia Cooke and Katherine Hughes, plus Connie Britton and Molly Shannon at the event after doing press earlier in the day.

Speaking with Nylon, Thomas opened up about his role in the movie.
“It’s the best role that I’ve ever had the opportunity to play. I’ve read everything out there, every coming-of-age movie I’ve probably auditioned for,” he shared. “This one felt different, and then when Alfonso [Gomez-Rejon, director] got on board, I was like okay, this is going to be something special. I knew he wasn’t going to make a teen movie, that it was going to be something bigger than that.”
Me And Earl And The Dying Girl is out in theaters TODAY!
